I recently acquired this through a trade with a friend. He bought it in '96 played it for a couple years then it sat in the case. He never had it professionally set up, so when I got it I couldn't believe he played it like it was. Action was high and the intonation was jacked up. It wouldn't stay in tune with light bending or vibrato use. It had some oxidation on the fret wire, speckled rust on some of the chrome and on the tuners. I put about 8-hours into the "restoration" and it's absolutely beautiful now. The neck and fretboard look brand new! The body is in great shape paint is perfect. I've worked with the vibrato it now stays in tune well. Intonation is perfect and the action is now set to my liking. The guitar is physically in great shape, now just need to track down a buzz that I think is being generated from the neck pickup.
