This particular jag-stang was rescued from an abusive owner and given to me to attempt a semi-restoration. It was covered in multiple coats and colors of the nastiest paints on the body and the hardware. It has numerous dents, scratches, gouges and holes that no guitar should ever endure. There were five holes drilled into the neck, four holes that actually have gone straight through the fretboard. To say the least the former owner was a serious jerk, or was just very unlucky. I'm going to try to keep as much original paint as possible and let the visual damage on the body stay so it has a beat up look. A REAL beat up look! I also plan to remove the tremelo. Wish me luck with her!! UPDATE!! This jag-stag is back in action and plays better than new thanks to the finishing touches by Stew @ Stews Guitar Works shtew@mac.com . Tried and approved by multiple professional guitar players. I also made my friends more than slightly jealous. 100% Satisfied! Looks like hell, Plays like heaven!
