Lots of work on this personal fav and I just picked it up from the shop today. It had been out of action for nearly 9 months waiting on new pickups to arrive in Australia which took so long due to COVID. It is currently sporting Seymour Duncan JB Model SH-4 in the bridge and a Quarter Pound Tele in the neck plus a brand new scratch plate to replace the original white pearl one that had separated and disintegrated. I stabilized the bridge long ago (stumbling onto the same hack that I would find out later was pretty standard), and that was when it became my #1 guitar. The circle in the paint is from where I had a sticker for oh so many years before having it recently removed. This is its 2nd or 3rd major rebuild (depending on how I'm counting), and each has usually set me back the price of the guitar if not more. I got it for $435 at a Guitar Center in Atlanta, if memory serves, and is the only guitar I kept when I moved to Australia in 2006. Lots of gigs, recordings, & memories.
