Preordered one back when they were first released. I locked the trem, added Sperzel locking tuning gears, and put an Invader in the bridge. About 15 years ago this guitar (along with a 1966 Höfner Galaxy, a 1981 Fender Bullet, and a bunch of effects pedals and other miscellaneous gear) was stolen from me. The guy who eventually ended up with the Jag-Stang foolishly, and thankfully, took it to the music shop owned by the luthier I studied under who was a dear family friend. He instantly recognized it from the mods, and further, they left the serial number on the neck, and we were reunited after about 3 years apart. She is currently on my work bench for a full rewriting job with premium cloth wire along with new big 500k pots, orange drop cap for the tone pot, pickup selector switches, and a new input jack. I want to use her as my second/back up guitar in my current project. Debating on refinishing her in Sherwood Green.
