Obviously if you were going from a Mesa Boogie Triple to one you'd be gutted but you're not.
There are tons of artists who have made it with just a guitar and not alot else. If you're gigging or making tracks, then yeah you want the best sound ever heard, but unless you have rich parents or a well paid job, it's not gonna happen like that. So all you can do is the best with what you have or can afford and upgrade when possible.
