I'm no expect on this, and noone can call themselves an expert unless they have done it and left the same guage on for like 5+ years and checked the results, but look at it this way.
If you say that the most common low e string in a pack of 10's is 46, then, the difference seems quite alot, but when you think that the jag you have is a short 24" scale length and so has reduced string tension, then i'd guess that aslong as you appropriately adjust the truss rod, then twisting or forward bow is not likely to happen.
Then again, if you were to say jump from 9's which normally has a low e of 42, then i'd be more worried. A set of 13's has a low e of 56, i've used these before on my strat for a few months, drop d and half a step down, so if my strat can take them, so can your jag with it's reduced tension.
I guess it's down to what you already have or have tried. Josh Homme has had his Ovation Ultra GP-1 tuned to C for like 20 odd years, if he was to change to 10-60's and tune to E, his neck would probably suffer alot.
The only problem would be that if you did fit 10-60's, you'd need to file the nut at the very least, and if you didn't like them or wanted a change, you would be left with gaping gaps in your nut if you went back to a regular gauge.
