Among other things..All I will say is having a Fender Jaguar comes in handy for changing around parts..Now also back around 1998 we wanted to play it in the garage so, bobby (the owner) being not so bright decided to drill a hole in the guitar on the lower horn so we could screw in strap locks and play it right handed...the guitar now has a screw placed in. You can see the screw in photos of it in the Rock and Roll hall of fame.....I will not say what of the guitar is original from the time kurt owned it, but I will tell you if you took it apart there is some obvious part differences that only kurts guitar tech would be able to spot...For all of you who wonder about this kind of stuff I will say that it sold for alot less then you would think and although the guitar looked awesome, it sounded like ####..The guitar also has a case with the word SKY-TANG 3( in roman numerals) on a piece of paper used as a tag/label that kurt himself wrote , The new owner keeps the case in storage more then likely and leases/loans the guitar to the rock and roll hall of fame..We used to sit around and stare at this guitar like a bunch of weak bastards and we always used a cloth and wiped it off when we were done, all of us would play it and it was our secret. Not that anyone would have believed we had this piece of music history ...Now just memories...Anyways it was kept in a closet for the most part, and away from the public (obviously) and it is now where it should be, out for all to see..But dont bother trying to play it. Its now nothing more then a display like from a store, a shell of its former self..I will post pics soon so I guess I can prove what im saying, but if the dude who bought it is reading this he knows im not making any of this up...Buyer beware ####
Jesus christ how did this is an old post of mine. how did this guy know to find it. Anyways if he is telling the truth i would love to see the pictures, must have been pretty cool to own it, should have sold it to me then get ripped off
