I use the pickup from my Cyclone at neck, i ' ve just put a second pickup (a bad one) and the 3 "switch" this week , it start to become a good one ; ) ... need a second good pickup before to wire them like the jag stang mod.

Those are strat pups and I believe the bridge and control plate are off a jag. And, unless I missed something, the neck is 25.5" scale. Therefore that's more like a 25.5" scale jag with simplified electronics. Dun make mistakes like that while talking about the JS.

an update:

I haven't posted much lately, but neither have many other people. Slow economic times, maybe..?

Anyways, I called my luthier yesterday, asking about progress on my Jagmaster. He has been waiting for a renovation at his home, so it hasn't been started yet. But he said it would be done by the end of next week.

Let's hope I have the money to pay for the damn thing.

The necks from a new Strat, and the jaguar control plate in already on the body so yep it fits 😀

Sadly, it's STILL at the luthier, and will remain there for some time. When I took it there, I had plenty of money. Now I have not worked for 4 whole weeks due to illness, and I have no money at all. So even when it is finished, it will be some time before I can bring her home ☹

The more I see pickup rings and Les Paul style pickup selectors installed on Jagmasters, the more I want to slap some on mine. Any recommendations?

Love the black one, very very nice.

As for the burst one, the Jag plate on the upper horn that serves no purpose whatsoever just looks tryhard.

If you put a stratocaster neck, now the jagmaster is 25.5 scale lenght ? 😕

I thought about doing that to mine for a while, but it was going to cost more and be more trouble than I could afford.

Here is my current project. I can't decide if I want Mustang knobs or chrome Tele knobs. All I have to do left is install some better machine heads.

I think I am digging the chrome a bit more though.
