I heard the stock pickups are not that great in a Mexican CP HH Jag. (don't know about the special HH though)
+ The bridge is not that great eighter.
Just think about it:
CP HH Jaguar:
- price: $900,-
- alder body
- bad bridge
- humbuckers not that great
Squier Jagmaster:
- price: $280,-
- alder body
- normal/better strat bridge
- humbuckers not that great
So the best thing to do is to buy atleast 1 good humbucker (Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, etc.)
And put it in yourself or take it to a luthier and let him build it for you.
If i was you i would buy the Jagmaster and put atleast 1 better humbucker in the bridge.
Saves you $620,- bucks you know...... 😁 (minus pickup costs)
