dang I missed all these discussions about Tiny Terrors whist i was away playing paintball...But at least this gentlemen is making the correct decision and going with Orange!
However I shall take a few moments to throw in my two cents of Orange goodness.
The cleans - I never understood the talk about Orange's cleans not being good, whilst they aren't Fender cleans the are very unique and beautiful my two favorite cleans are Fenders and Oranges and depending on the sound I want they are equal. The Fender cleans are bright and resounding but the Orange is very full and "rounded".
The Tiny Terror doing modern metal such as SOAD that is very achievable with a "tubescreamer" or a compressor to really tighten things up even an EQ to scoop the mids would make the TT incredibly good for heavy music, however that isn't totally needed I will let Chappers take this one as he plays metal on his Tiny Terror.
My rockerverb can very easily handle very low "br00tal" tunings and I'm sure the TT wouldn't be to shabby either. Just need to know your settings and how to utilize them best.
Places to get Orange amps onlinehttp://www.humbuckermusic.com/orange.html Top Dealer from 03-08 they have a huge selection of Orange.
For bedroom volume the 7 watt mode of the TT isn't going to be much different then the 5 watts described here that you get from other amps. The Dual Terror another great selection if you want a bedroom/practiceable amp because you can get 30/15/7 which is really cool and additionally the "fat channel" is more gain better suited to your SOAD/Modern metal tone if you so desire.
Overall Tiny Terror's are fantastic amps in all there incarnations whether it be the combo, head or dual terror you aren't going to go wrong.
And so I have said something in regards to Orange amps in this thread so I feel better.
