Agreed I wouldn't pay anything for a line 6, but i'd take a gift of one to sell for a good amp.

M9, M13, Vetta, DL4 (get it DRASP'd tho hehe).

Some line6 stuff is cool. But they have made some really really terrible gear too. Swings and roundabouts. I was really considering selling all my pedals to get a m13 the other day...

Gus, you're right.

Wheneveer someone says line 6 to me, I think "Spyder!" and they are rubbish. Let's not forget the higher end amps, the valve series and their recent collaboration with Bogner.

They do have some decent effects too, and I don't mean the pod.

Have any of you heard about the custom amps made at this small music store in boston called 'mr. music?' I've heard good things, but was wondering if anyone had actually purchased/played/heard of these guys custom equipment?

A 1x12 20w combo would be fine for a small band, trust me. This would also give you more power amp distortion. I'd be willing to bet that 120w never goes over 5 on volume without the venue telling you to keep it down.

I want a big keyboard or bass amp instead of a guitar amp. It's the only affordable way for me to get the epic low end I need. Combos suck for bassy stuff imo.

I hate trying to play through guitar combos now, the "Bass" is really just low mids. Sounds #### to me.
